Hyacinth is organizing a flash mob as part of the July 1st Canada Day celebrations in Arnprior. She's looking for as many people as possible to take part. Here's the information she sent me:
(1)-red tops and white bottoms, OR white tops and red
bottoms
(2)-no hats required, but may be worn if desired
(3)-it will be SHUFFLE-BOOGIE-SOUL for the Flash Mob
(4)-there will be a rehearsal the previous week (on Tue
or Wed or Thu); since this will be mainly to pinpoint
the staggering of the starting dancers, visiting groups
would not necessarily need to attend this prep, but
they would certainly be very welcome.
(5)-there are only 2 other dances we'll do: (i)-HOOK-
STOMP-VINE, then (ii)-HEY as our audience-
participation number.
(6)-the event will most likely begin at 1:00pm, and the
venue will be down by the rivers at Arnprior's Robert
Simpson Park
(7)-kindly spread the word on behalf of the Town of
Arnprior and myself to as many dancers as you are able,
s'il te plaît, with a request to contact me by calling
or e-mailing--merci beaucoup.
